Establishment and Logo 

Kia Motors has been considered one of the largest automobile manufacturers in Korea since its establishment in 1952. The company began as a small-scale steel business and later switched to becoming a bicycle manufacturer in the year 1952 and adopted the name “Kia.” They continued to manufacture bicycles for over a decade before stepping into the commercial vehicle arena and introducing trucks and buses under the Kia label. This initiative was deemed profitable, and Kia soon opened its first automotive assembly plant, the Sohari Plant, and began manufacturing passenger cars and light trucks in 1974.

Kia Today  

Today, Kia is considered one of the fastest-growing automobile brands, especially in the UK and Europe. The brand sells millions of vehicles in a year and manufactures state-of-the-art vehicles with the best exterior and interior features. Kia translates to “Rising out of Asia” in English and is an actual wonder element in the automobile industry.  

In the US, Kia currently offers over 13 models to choose from that consist of six cars, a minivan, and six SUVs and crossovers. These vehicles include the Kia Soul, Kia Niro, Kia Seltos, Kia Sportage, Kia Sorento, Kia Telluride, Kia Rio, Kia Forte, Kia Cadenza, Kia K900, Kia Sedona, and the Kia Optima.
